Fish leave DNA in water. We capture this eDNA using filters and use it to identify which species of fish are present. It provides lots of information without having to disturb the fish themselves
Citizen Science
Using our simple kits, anyone can collect an eDNA sample. We want to use the power of volunteers and citizen scientists to collect as many samples as possible in the UK, Europe & Canada
Leading researchers
The project is coordinated by a team of experts in environmental DNA sampling and analysis. We will apply the highest level of scientific rigour to processing the samples and analysing the data
